Ashley Luongo, LMHC, PMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts with 13 years of experience in the field. My passion lies in supporting individuals through life’s challenges, particularly those navigating pregnancy loss, infertility, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). To better serve this population, I earned my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMHC).
In addition to my perinatal work, I help older teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, confidence, dating, relationships, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which I studied while earning my master’s degree in counseling from Assumption University.
My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients can gain insight, develop coping strategies, and build confidence in themselves and their future.

What insurances do you take?
I accept BCBS, Optum, Point32 Health and Aetna.
What are your hours?
I am available by appointment only, my typical hours are Mon-Thursday 9-5 Fridays 10-2 but this may vary.
What does a typical session look like?
The intake session is primarily background and history taking. This is my opportunity to get to know you and ensure that I am able to provide the support that you need. Future sessions can vary between 30 min to 55 minutes based on what you need at that time.
What is the cost of a session?
The cost of a session will vary and those costs are determined by your insurance company. For those that have insurance I do not take we can discuss a sliding scale or out of network benefits as needed.
What is the cancellation Policy?
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, less than 24 hours there is a late cancellation fee of $75.
